Centru
Including Semicentral, Gară
The historic centre, around Piața Unirii and Piața Muzeului: old buildings with high-ceilinged flats, many of them renovated, and apartment blocks in the streets around. The universities, restaurants, theatres and the Central Park are a few steps away.
Flats here let easily, to students and people who work in town. Parking is hard to find, and some old buildings need work, so the state of the building is worth checking. On the map, the centre also takes in the railway station area and the semi-central streets.
Andrei Mureșanu
A quiet area of villas and houses, with a few small blocks, on the hill next to the centre. Little traffic, plenty of greenery and good schools nearby.

An established neighbourhood of apartment blocks on the hill south of the centre, next to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the hospitals and the Botanical Garden.
Medical students, Romanian and international, look for rentals here, so flats let quickly, especially during the academic year. On the map, Zorilor also takes in Hașdeu, the student campus between Zorilor and the centre.
